DESCRIPTION

Rare Z1-R from the first model year with an 18" front wheel and small fuel tank. This indicates it is a U.S. model, as it wasn't sold in Germany until 1978. Tires are brand new, carburetor is tuned, timing chain runs silently, fuel tap is in perfect working order, seat has been reupholstered. Brakes are excellent, thanks to the steel-braided lines. Exhaust headers are not discolored, paint has signs of use. The motorcycle rides “smooth as butter.” Selling due to downsizing my fleet.
