GENERAL
What is MOTO90?
MOTO90 is a dedicated marketplace for 90s motorcycles — the golden decade of carburettors, inline fours, screaming two-strokes, and bikes built without electronic safety nets. The Ducati 916. The Honda FireBlade. The Kawasaki ZX-7R. We bring them together from across Europe in one place, so you're not trawling generic classifieds buried under modern machinery.
Is it free?
Yes — currently free for both buyers and sellers. Listing a bike costs nothing and there are no transaction fees. We may introduce optional paid features in the future, but listing will always be accessible.
What countries does MOTO90 cover?
We cover all of Europe — listings and buyers from the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and beyond. You can filter by country on the browse page.
Do I need an account?
You need an account to list a bike, save listings, or message sellers. Browsing is open to everyone — no account required.
Can my business get involved?
Yes — we're building a partner network of workshops, parts suppliers, trackday organisers, and clubs. It's a simple link exchange: we feature you on our partners page, you link back to us. No cost, no contracts. Email hello@moto90.com if you're interested.
FOR BUYERS
How do I contact a seller?
From any active listing, click the 'Message Seller' button. You'll need to be signed in. Messages go directly to the seller — there's no middleman.
Are listings verified?
Every listing is reviewed by our team before going live. We check that the bike fits the era and that the listing meets our basic quality standards. We do not physically inspect bikes — always view in person before paying.
What if a seller doesn't respond?
Sellers are responsible for keeping their listings current. If you don't hear back within a few days, the bike may already be sold or the seller may be unavailable. Feel free to contact us at hello@moto90.com — we may be able to help track down the right bike or point you in the right direction.
How should I pay?
Payment is entirely between buyer and seller — MOTO90 is not involved in any transaction. That said, we'd always recommend viewing the bike in person before handing over any money, and being cautious about paying deposits remotely to someone you haven't met.
Can I save listings to come back to?
Yes — hit the save button on any listing to add it to your watchlist. Find your saved bikes under your account.
FOR SELLERS
How do I list a bike?
Sign in, click 'Sell a Bike' in the navigation, and fill in the details. Add up to 10 photos, set your price, and publish. Your listing will be reviewed before going live — this usually takes less than 24 hours.
What bikes can I list?
The core focus is the 1990s, but machines from the late 80s and early 2000s that carry the same analogue spirit are welcome. If you're unsure, list it — we'll let you know if it doesn't fit.
How long does a listing stay live?
Listings stay live until you remove them or mark them as sold. There's no automatic expiry. We ask that you keep your listing up to date — mark it as reserved when a deal is in progress, and sold once it's done.
Can I list a bike that isn't for sale?
Yes — use the Showcase status to add a bike to your garage. It appears on the Garage page and on your profile as a bike to be admired, not bought.
What happens after I sell?
Update the listing status to Sold. The bike moves to the archive and is no longer shown as available. Your profile will reflect the sale.
ACCOUNTS & PRIVACY
Can I control who sees my profile?
Yes. You can set your profile to public (visible to other members) or private (your name appears on listings but is not linked or searchable). You can also choose whether to show your email address on your profile.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your profile settings and scroll to the bottom. You can delete your account at any time. Your listings will be removed along with your account.
How do I report a problem?
